Job Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector to support a medical device manufacturing client. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting medical device components and finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring product safety, performance, and FDA/ISO compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of medical device components and finished products
• Inspect products using visual inspection, measurement tools, and test equipment per documented procedures
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection plans
• Accurately document inspection results in quality systems and inspection records
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials; support MRB activities as required
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and maintain accurate inspection records
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and customers as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Basic computer skills and experience with quality systems or ERP/MES systems
